2016 Litter Survey Results Volunteers fanned out across the Truckee Meadows yesterday to rate the community on its cleanliness for KTMB’s 15th annual Litter Survey. Over 9,000 trees recycled this year! Here at Keep Truckee Meadows Beautiful we’ve wrapped up our 25th annual Christmas Tree Recycling program and results are in! 9,550 Christmas trees were recycled thanks to the help of 530 volunteers, including families, businesses and community groups.  This year brought new and exciting additions to the program as well… read more →

2015 Truckee River Cleanup Results: A Record-Breaking Year! Preliminary results show that over 1,000 volunteers removed 42 tons of trash and invasive weeds along 20 miles of the Truckee River, including neighborhood river tributaries during our Truckee River Cleanup Day. KTMB participated in the 2015 Reno is Artown festival for the first time ever! Artown takes place annually in July where about 500 events take place including workshops, exhibit showcase arts, dance, music and other cultural events to experience throughout the entire month.
