Started in 1987 by the Biggest Little City Committee to encourage community involvement and pride in our parks, Adopt-A-Park was the seed that started Keep Truckee Meadows Beautiful, then known as Western Nevada Clean Communities.
How do we get started?
Read the Adopt-A-Spot Application Packet for more information and to apply for a park adoption. If you’re already a KTMB Beautiful Business at the Rattlesnake Mountain level or above, an Adopt-A-Spot is included in your member benefits. Non-profits and community groups can apply to be Scholarship Adopters.
Volunteers interested in one-time park beautification projects with Keep Truckee Meadows Beautiful find out what’s available by emailing or calling us: 851-5185. Any group or business interested in working at the KTMB Sensory Garden in Idlewild Park, please email or call us: 851.5185!
