KTMB’s Christmas Tree Recycling

It’s hard to believe the holidays are almost here already! As a reminder, KTMB will be hosting it’s annual Christmas Tree Recycling event following the holidays as a way to responsibly recycle your Christmas Tree to be used for mulch in local area parks. The program will begin December 26, 2018 and run through January 7, 2019. Be sure to follow KTMB’s social media channels and check our website for more details leading up to this program.
We are also looking for volunteers to help with tree collection throughout this program. To learn more or to sign up for a shift, visit our website

Beautiful Business

RT Donovan
This month we would like to recognize a long time partner of KTMB – RT Donovan. RT Donovan is a local landscape materials company who also have a composting program! KTMB works with RT Donovan to recycle green waste collected at KTMB’s Truckee River Cleanup and Great Community Cleanup. RT Donovan also provides an opportunity for individuals to recycle their Christmas Trees after KTMB’s Christmas Tree Recycling program has ended – as long as they’re free of tinsel and flocking. Thank you RT Donovan for being an awesome partner and providing a composting option in our community!
