Mission:  Keep Truckee Meadows Beautiful is dedicated to creating a more sustainable and beautiful region through waste reduction, education, and active community involvement.

Diversity: KTMB serves a rich diversity of people and neighborhoods and is committed to treating individuals with respect and dignity. Our commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion touches on all aspects of our work. 

• We are inclusive and collaborative with all communities throughout the region to ensure every neighborhood can participate in KTMB neighborhood and community cleanups.

• We offer educational programs to all schools and adults throughout the region and provide our programs in Spanish to create greater equity in access for our Latino and Hispanic communities.

• We invite and welcome all individuals to volunteer with KTMB and we partner with community groups that represent minorities, indigenous peoples, LGBTQ, and others to ensure our volunteers are reflective of the diversity within our community.

• Our board sets the goals and priorities for KTMB; to ensure our work elevates diversity, equity and inclusion, we strive for a diverse board to bring together different backgrounds, cultures, experience, expertise and perspectives. Board diversity helps KTMB stay in touch with community needs, priorities, and opportunities.
