Donation Options

Keep Truckee Meadows Beautiful (KTMB) is a 501(c)3 nonprofit dedicated to creating a more sustainable and beautiful region through waste reduction, education and active community involvement. KTMB is an affiliate of the national organization Keep America Beautiful. Locally, we have been working for over 30 years with businesses, municipalities, community groups and individuals to keep our open spaces, the Truckee River, business corridors, and neighborhoods beautiful and clean for all to enjoy.

You can help KTMB Keep the Truckee Meadows beautiful in so many ways. We are a privately funded non-profit, which means we rely on the community for support. We appreciate everyone who volunteers, and for those who want to do more or can’t volunteer for whatever reason, KTMB gladly accepts monetary support. There are several ways to help, such as donating any amount as a one-time or recurring monthly donation. Businesses can also sponsor programs that KTMB already does in our community. We also need in-kind donations of various items for our various programs and cleanup efforts. You can learn more below or click on the donation box below.   • Become a member of the KTMB Community by making a donation today! No matter what you give, it helps us keep the Truckee Meadows region beautiful for all to enjoy. Your donation enables community cleanups, cultivation of environmental stewardship through education, and an improved quality of life for everyone here in the Truckee Meadows. We also invite our supporters to some special events throughout the year, it’s just our way of saying “thank you”!

  • Sponsoring KTMB is a great way to have a positive, lasting impact on the Truckee Meadows. From our boots-on-the-ground cleanups to our education programs training the next generation of advocates, your sponsorship makes all we do possible. KTMB offers a variety of sponsorship opportunities including KTMB’s Raise the River fundraiser, the Great Community Cleanup, or our Truckee River Cleanup Day.

  • Non-monetary, in-kind donations are always needed. From raffle prizes or snacks for our volunteers to equipment or items for our cleanups and events, we appreciate what you can give!

Our Funding Priorities

Here at Keep Truckee Meadows Beautiful (KTMB), is dedicated to creating a more sustainable and beautiful region through waste reduction, education, and active community involvement.

Our current funding priorities are:

1. Education – ensuring students and members of our community have access to the education and resources they need to reduce their waste and help prevent litter related issues impacting our community.

2. Cleanups – harnessing the power of our dedicated community volunteers to remove litter and work on beautification projects around the Truckee Meadows.

3. Prevention – KTMB is dedicated to helping prevent the root causes of these environmental issues in our community. Through programs like Christmas Tree Recycling and the Illegal Dumping Task Force we are able to make changes to protect our region for future generations.
