The Reno-Sparks Chamber of Commerce is making it easy for its members to go green! The Chamber is offering a 6-week lunch and learn Green Business Training & Certification Program each Thursday from April 15th through May 20th, presented by Nevada Green Business Network and Keep Truckee Meadows Beautiful. This program is limited to the first 25 Chamber members who RSVP! As an attendee, Chamber businesses will have the opportunity to engage with Green Business experts on how to implement green measures, receive technical assistance, and collaborate with other local Chamber businesses while getting certified as a Nevada Green Business! All that and lunch included!

Green businesses gain a marketing edge because more than 70% of customers surveyed want to buy from businesses that are helping to protect the environment, and many are willing to pay more for their products. Green business also have an advantage when it comes to recruiting and retaining talent. More than 80% of US workers polled believe that it is important to work for an organization that makes the environment a top priority.
