Join KTMB for a Virtual Sustainability Education Series Sunday, October 25, 2020 

• Weed Warriors with the Nevada Department of Agriculture: 9:00am-11:00am 

• Waste Warriors with Nevada Recycles: 12:00pm-2:00pm 

• Watershed Warriors with the Nevada Division of Environmental Protection: 3:00pm-5:00pm 

This virtual professional development training (held via Zoom) will introduce participants to local environmental issues and the actions that everyone can take to make a difference. There are three components to this training: Weed Warriors, Waste Warriors, and Watershed Warriors. Participants can choose to participate in all or some of these subjects. Each component begins with a half-hour presentation on the subject matter by a local professional in the field. The remaining 1.5 hours involve activity demonstrations which you can bring back to your classroom, as well as collaborative discussion on how to effectively implement these ideas with your students.
